  • An elegant Victorian semi-detached family house.
  • Extensive southwest facing rear garden.
  • Generous 5-bedroom interior.
  • Original features displayed throughout.
  • Driveway to the front
  • Well, placed for Whiteladies Road and the Downs.
  • Viewing is highly recommended.

We bought this house in 2002 and knew it would work for us from the start, catchment area for good schools, an easy amble to a decent coffee on the Whiteladies Road, the Downs no distance away and easy to food shop without the hassle of driving, It's also an easy commute to the station.
What made us fall in love with it was the garden. Over the years we have spent so much time in it, it's had trampolines, Wendy houses, basketball hoops and quite a bit of cricket practice, and more recently the remnants of teenage parties!
To be honest the house was in pretty good shape when we bought it, but we have enjoyed doing things to it over the years that we think have enhanced it. Downstairs all the original wooden shutters are now in working order, and in the sitting room we put in a fireplace to enjoy cosying up to through the winter. We are lucky to have lots of original features like cornicing and picture rails.
