VENDORS COMMENT "From a cottage style house in a quiet hamlet to a town house in vibrant Bristol was a big move for us; us being two grandparents, two parents and two teenagers with one parent running his consultancy business from home. We looked at quite a few houses, but 40 Durdham Park ticked every box. Just opening the front door revealed some beautiful period features such as the well-kept Victorian tiling and stained glass windows.. There were plenty of rooms for three generations to pursue their own interests, schools within walking distance, good bus services, plenty of interesting shops and restaurant/cafes of all types. Facing directly onto the Downs offered lovely picnic places, walks and a sense of being out of the city but with the city centre being only 3 miles away. What's more the council cuts the grass. We soon felt very much at home.
