  • An exquisite Victorian family home with self-contained lower ground flat.
  • A versatile and well-presented 5 bedroomed interior.
  • Exceptional kitchen/breakfast room.
  • Beautifully presented lawned garden offers a great deal of privacy.
  • An open outlook enjoyed over the surrounding area.
  • Superb Clifton location situated between Whiteladies Road and the Village.

We bought Duchess Road in 1997 and have absolutely loved living here. This is where we brought up our family and we have so many happy memories of friendly get-togethers with the other children and families in the road over the years. There is a lovely sense of community here, maybe because most of the houses in the road are family homes rather than flats.

What initially attracted us to this area was the feeling of almost being in the countryside, as Duchess Road is particularly quiet, even though we are five minutes away from so many attractions. Five minutes to Whiteladies Road, with all the shopping and dining possibilities, not to mention the cinema; five minutes' walk from the Downs, which we have particularly appreciated during this lockdown period; five minutes from my children's schools; five minutes from the doctors' surgery, two minutes' walk from Clifton Down railway station.
